Design Concept: Modern Craftsmanship / A Revival of Classical Elegance
Inspired by sacred and noble architecture—from Greek temples to Chinese shrines and European castles—this project reinterprets timeless
materials like stone, brick, and tile through modern construction techniques. The design blends classical proportions, symmetry, and ornamental
details with contemporary craftsmanship, achieving a refined balance of structure, texture, and visual rhythm that evokes lasting emotional
                                                  resonance.

                                                  Presence & Memory
Architecture connects people to place and time. Through layered spatial experiences and seasonal landscaping that invites birds and butterflies
the central courtyard and front gardens become lively, tranquil sanctuaries. These shifting natural elements help mark the passage of time and
foster lasting personal and communal memories.

                                                  Site Planning
With road access to both the north and south, the townhouse rows align along the street axis. A generous front courtyard opens the view, while a
private lane leads into a central courtyard flanked by detached and semi-detached units. Nine meters of spacing between buildings enhances
visual openness. Side gardens between twin homes further soften transitions and expand the shared courtyard feel.
Zone A: A commanding presence at the community entrance
                                                  Zone B: A refined, courtyard-style residential cluster

                                                  Circulation Design
The plan separates pedestrian and vehicular paths to create a comfortable outdoor environment. Natural light is introduced into basement-level
areas to break away from the dark, closed-off image of typical underground spaces.

                                                  Façade
A clean, rectilinear form accommodates efficient spatial layouts. Intermediary spaces—such as front porches and balconies—create shadow and
privacy. A tripartite façade design echoes the “heaven, earth, and human” philosophy, combining classical aesthetics with modern functionality.
Materials like ceramic tiles, stone, metal railings, and glass articulate a rich yet balanced architectural expression.

                                                  Interior Layout
Basement: A lightwell brings natural light into the flexible multipurpose room. A walk-in cloakroom and underground parking improve daily
convenience and open up surface-level space.
First Floor: The living, dining, and kitchen areas flow seamlessly, enhanced by views into the courtyard. A baroque-style staircase adds a sculptural
                                                  focal point.
Second Floor: Designed as a master suite with dual dressing areas, his-and-her vanities, and a sunken tub paired with a flowerbox and picture
                                                  window for scenic relaxation.
Third Floor: Offers flexible layouts with two suites or a suite and a family lounge.
Fourth Floor: Includes a shrine room and rooftop platform, connected by layered spaces—porch, balcony, and terrace—for versatility and spiritual
                                                  retreat.
