Design Concept: Form & Philosophy
Heaven is round, Earth is square – the overall exterior concept draws from this classical cosmology.
Mass
The volume already contains David within it.
As Michelangelo once said, “Sculpture is about removing the excess from the stone.”
We follow the same philosophy—revealing the form by subtracting the unnecessary.
Shape & Identity
Lighthouse – A beacon guiding one home.
Imperial Seal – A symbolic imprint anchoring the building to its place.
Poetry & Architecture – Just as poetry uses words and syntax to convey meaning, architecture uses elements and construction techniques to
evoke emotion and imagination.
Details
Painting is about adding—applying pigment stroke by stroke to a blank canvas.
Architecture, by contrast, is revealed through light:
Because of light, we see the world.
Because of light, buildings reveal their character.
This design is neither strictly classical nor purely minimalist.
The façade follows a tripartite composition—heaven, earth, and humanity—a spatial philosophy where architecture connects sky and ground,
offering a place of comfort for people.
